Reel Relief: A Night for Jamaica

On December 4, my team and I are hosting a special fundraising event called Reel Relief: A Night for Jamaica, in support of families affected by Hurricane Melissa. As many of you know, my roots and my spirit are deeply connected to Jamaica, and seeing the devastation on the island has been incredibly difficult. We knew we had to do something.

For one night only, we’ll be screening four powerful short films by Jamaican-Canadian filmmakers, including Sugar Dumplin, to help raise funds and awareness for relief efforts.

This will be an evening of storytelling, culture, and community impact.
